Strategic Competition as a Challenge for Europe
The research project in collaboration with Dr. Shushanik Minasyan looks at the new strategic challenges for the European Union in its eastern and south-eastern neighborhood. Under the two regional focal points in the Black Sea region and on the Western Balkans, the current and future relationships are examined, in particular with Russia, Turkey and China, which are increasingly developing from cooperation to competition. Funded and in cooperation with the DAAD, the SAIS of the Johns Hopkins University, Washington D.C. and the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation, Moscow office.
