According to renowned Bonn-based security expert Dr. Joachim Weber, a second term in office for Donald Trump is also dangerous because it could prompt Vladimir Putin to expand his imperial ambitions to other European countries. Weber agrees with a statement by the former head of the Munich Security Conference, Christoph Heusgen, that the Russian dictator probably considers Europeans to be "wimps". Although Russia is unlikely to be in a position to directly invade Europe in the near future, European governments must be prepared and significantly intensify their defense policy efforts.
