Protection of critical maritime infrastructures
Maritime infrastructures form the backbone of modern economies - and at the same time are vulnerable and their protection beyond national control is a complex challenge. In the field of tension between increasing geopolitical risks, military and “hybrid” threats in the face of critical social dependency, their security is moving into the strategic focus. The panel will discuss specific risks, new approaches to protection and political control options based on the question: How can the state, armed forces, business and science jointly contribute to resilience?
