Profile
Johanna Möhring is Research Fellow at the Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies, University of Bonn, and Chercheure associée at the Centre Thucydide, Paris-Panthéon-Assas.
She studied International Relations at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC, Russian language and civilisation at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO) in Paris, and Public policy/ Public administration at the University of Konstanz. She obtained a PhD in Political Science from the Université Paris-Panthéon Assas in 2022 with a dissertation on defence cooperation in Europe.
Previously, Johanna Möhring has undertaken research as doctoral researcher at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure (ENS) in Paris, Senior Fellow at the Institute for Statecraft in London, and Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is co-founder and ambassador of Women In International Security (WIIS) France having served as its president from 2018 to 2022.
