David Isken is a research assistant in the project "H2 Reality Check - Reappraising the EU's H2 Strategy in a New Era of Geopolitical Disruptions" of the Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies (CASSIS) at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History (core subject) and “Politics and Society” (accompanying subject) and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Excellence Bonn.
Before joining CASSIS, David Isken wrote his Master's thesis on the role of trust in extended nuclear deterrence. He gained practical experience during a traineeship in the office of a foreign policy politician in the European Parliament and as a working student and freelancer in the field of social media marketing.
