Rafe Courage was appointed British Consul General for North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate in July 2017. He and his team promote British exports to Germany and German investments in the UK. They also provide consular services to British citizens. Rafe Courage began his diplomatic career in 1986 and has diverse experience including trade diplomacy, public relations and in immigration, politics and economics.
Prof. Ulrich Schlie is Director of the Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies (CASSIS) and holds the Henry Kissinger Chair for Security and Strategic Studies at the Institute for Political Science and Sociology.
