Wissenssalon - The scientific hallway chat
The Wissenssalon is an informal round of the Bonn research community in the field of international relations, initiated by Prof. Dr. Xuewu Gu (CGS) and Prof. Dr. Maximilian Mayer (CASSIS), and serves to present and discuss innovative topics and methods, new ideas and project ideas, current research results and new research trends.
With its informal workshop character, it is aimed at fellows, mid-level academic staff and professors at CASSIS, CGS and the Institute of Political Science and Sociology. The Wissenssalon is intended to facilitate a regular exchange on current or planned research projects, contribute to the further development of those projects and provide impetus for future (joint) research projects of the participating colleagues. 10 to 15-minute keynote speeches are followed by 45 to 50 minutes for questions and discussion.
Participation
The Knowledge Salon takes place on the last Thursday of each month during the lecture period from 12 to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
