Profile
Philipp van Helden has been working as a Research Fellow at the Henry Kissinger Chair for Security and Strategic Studies since May 2023. In this role, he supports the chairholder in academic matters and is also responsible for managing the English-language master's program in Strategy and International Security.
His research focuses on the North Atlantic Alliance, German foreign and security policy, and Intelligence Studies.
Philipp van Helden studied Political Science, Sociology, and Law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. He completed his master's degree with a thesis on the development of NATO’s strategic orientation.
